The
president of DHS Worldwide is Steven J. Hyman. Mr. Hyman has
a degree in both
Computer Science and Business Administration from Vanderbilt
University. In addition, Mr. Hyman graduated from the University
of Miami School of Law with honors. Mr. Hyman was elected by
his fellow students to serve as their Student Body President.
He is a licensed attorney in good standing in the state of
Florida and is licensed to practice in federal court. Mr. Hyman
has been a licensed Mortgage Broker and licensed Real Estate
Broker. He has extensive experience dealing with complex real
estate transactions and financial institutions.
After graduating from law school, he actively practiced law for ten years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Mr. Hyman represented financial institutions, closed complex real estate transactions and represented many
federal governmental agencies such as the Federal
Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Federal Home Loan Bank Board
and the Resolution Trust Corporation. Mr. Hyman assisted these
governmental agencies with numerous troubled financial institutions
which were under governmental control. During this stage of
his career, Mr. Hyman was managing billions of dollars of assets.
It was at this time that Mr. Hyman began to focus on software development
as a tool to assist in the management of these assets.
In 1991, Mr. Hyman co-founded a company which focused in these
areas. In 1994, DHS Worldwide began to focus on diverse custom
software development projects. Mr. Hyman has managed the completion
of scores of major custom software products for all types of
business entities and governmental agencies. He is a fluent
programmer and an experienced program design consultant. He
has served on the PRISM International committee on technology.
